What we collect. Browsing, searching, filtering, and verifying an official source do not require an account. If you sign in to continue to an application, we store a minimal member record (email, display name when supplied by your sign-in provider, provider, and login time) and the opportunity link you chose to open. This records an application-link intent, not a claim that you submitted an application. When you contact us, register for an event, or subscribe to our newsletter, we receive the details you submit through our form providers or directly by email and WhatsApp.

How we use it. We use your details to secure your account, return you to selected opportunities, respond to you, deliver the service or event you requested, and send updates only when you separately consent. Newsletter consent is not bundled with account creation. We do not sell personal data.

Opportunity data. Funding opportunities listed on this site are collected from publicly available sources. Every public record links to its official source, and we display the source and our confidence in the record. We do not publish personal data in opportunity records.

Listings are intelligence, not guarantees. Opportunity records are gathered and verified automatically with human review where flagged. Deadlines, amounts, and eligibility can change at the source without notice — always confirm details on the official source page linked from every record before applying.

No fees for listings. Browsing opportunities is free. Grant Catalyst Africa never asks for payment to access a listed opportunity. Advisory services are separate, priced openly on the services page.

Acceptable use. Do not scrape this site in ways that degrade service for others, misrepresent our data as your own, or use our listings to mislead applicants.

We do not use advertising cookies. We use a secure, HttpOnly session cookie after you sign in, a short-lived CSRF cookie to protect account actions, local storage to resume the opportunity you selected after an email sign-in link, privacy-conscious Google Analytics for aggregate product improvement, and a service worker cache so pages load faster. The sign-in cookies use SameSite protection and are not available to page scripts.

You can ask us at any time to show you, correct, or delete the personal data you have submitted to us. Email info@grantcatalyst.africa from the address in question and we will act on it within 30 days. If you believe a listed opportunity exposes personal data or misrepresents a funder, report it through the same address and we will review the record.
